Andrew Mollo (born 15 May 1940) is a British expert on military uniforms that has led him into a career in motion pictures and as an author of various books on military uniforms. He is the brother of costume designer and historical consultant John Mollo.
Mollo was approached by Kevin Brownlow for assistance on his film It Happened Here (released 1966) that led Mollo into co-writing, co-directing and co-producing the project. Mollo's uniform expertise led him to be a technical consultant on such films as Dr. Zhivago and The Eagle Has Landed. Mollo also co-wrote, co-produced and co-directed with Kevin Brownlow the film Winstanley.
He returned to art direction with Xtro and production design of Dance With a Stranger (1985). He later was production designer for the Sharpe and Hornblower TV series.
Mollo has written a large number of books on 20th Century military uniforms and the men and women who wore them.
